Notice of temporary suspension of distillery tours

In response to the spread of the Coronavirus we have made the decision to temporarily suspend all visitation to Knockdhu Distillery as of Monday 16th March until further notice.

As a result, we are unable to take any new tour bookings and refunds will be automatically issued for all pre-paid tour bookings during this period.

We understand that this may be disappointing to our fans and we apologise for any inconvenience. Please be assured that we are taking this action out of an abundance of caution because the health and well-being of our employees and loyal fans is paramount. We will share our reopening schedule via our official website and look forward to resuming tours in the future.

If you have any queries regarding your booking, please do not hesitate to get in touch by calling us on +44 (0)1466 771223 (Opening Hours:  Mon - Friday 10am - 4pm).

The Knockdhu Tour

Tours of our home are quite like our whisky, in that they are rather unusual.

No two tours are the same, and we make a conscious effort never to rush those who choose to visit our distillery. Each experience offers our guests the opportunity to ask questions and speak to our production team to get to know the story behind Knockdhu and our award-winning whisky.

Visits take between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the questions being asked.  Visitors who aren’t driving are offered the chance to sample from our current range, with drivers receiving a complimentary dram to savour at home.

How to book
We hold daily tours which can be tailored to individual requirement and start at 10:00 or 14:00, Monday to Friday, spaces are limited on each tour, so we recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.  To reserve your space, please call us on 01466 771223 or by emailing our Tour Guide, Lorraine on

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
